Planning a wedding takes a lot more time than most couples think, as lots
of things need to be organised well ahead of the day itself. The venue,
the dress, and the guest list will be some of the first considerations, quickly
followed by the cake, the first dance, and the various other details and
traditions of the ‘Big Day. Because of this, it can be easy to overlook the
importance of your wedding stationery, and let’s face it, the invitations can’t
really be left to the last minute! Your invitations will give your guests an initial
idea of what you have planned and set the tone for the whole wedding. By
making sure your wedding stationery matches the overall style, you’ll get the
perfect day off to a great start.
Although your invitations are the most obvious piece of wedding stationery,
there are lots of other things to think about too. The invites may need to
contain directions, menus and a gift list, while on the day you’ll need to have
an order of service, a seating plan and name tags for the tables. And don’t
forget, when the dust has settled on your honeymoon, you’ll also want to send
out thank you cards as well!
Although wedding stationery can be purchased on the high street, if you’re
a perfectionist, you’ll want to make sure that a consistent style is used
throughout – particularly if your wedding has a specific theme. If this sounds

than simply buying cards and tags from a high street store. Most wedding
